I’m pleased to say (even though I say it myself) that I’ve perfected the technique of wet pointing.
I inject wet mortar into the joints with a mortar gun and leave it to cure for an hour. I then rub it down with a bricklaying iron to give a neat finish and remove any excess mortar from the surface with a heavy-duty blower.
This gets wet mortar right down to the bottom of the joint where it cures slowly – and gives much greater longevity than any other method.
Brush-in jointing compounds are a no-no for paving as they’re completely permeable to water. Water gets between the slabs and the mortar, and when it freezes, lifts the slabs.

I can install a complete range of surfaces from natural indian sandstone or traditional York-stone paving through to contemporary porcelain paving slabs. As all the different materials have different installation methods, costs can vary dramatically

Driveways
Driveways come in all shapes and sizes and choosing the right surface is something of an art. I can walk you through the options and help you decide what would be best for you.
Blocks
Block paving comes in a variety of looks now, so you don’t have to scared of your driveway looking like a B&Q car-park.
Gravel
Traditional gravel driveways look great and don’t cost the earth but they do require some maintenance.
This contrasts with resin bound gravel that is virtually maintenance free (no solution is totally maintenance free).
Tarmac
Tarmac also has its’ place – normally in the entrance areas between gates.
